The cooler clothing/lifestyle equivalent of Ikea. All the clean finished pine, aluminum and plastic stuff.
Their affinity to cotton knits and other organic stuff. Their uncanny ability to make even nylon cool. But we know who won the nylon category... C'mon... $200 for a nylon bag. Biggest winner ever.
And, if you pay enough attention, we never buy stuff from muji. Unless they're on sale. That is when you need to drop all inhibition and go get it. If you think that muji is cheaper in Japan, it's not. Unless the yen depreciates significantly, like a few months ago.
Oh and this is what we saw the last time we were there.
