There is something poignant about abandoned stuff left in the open. Unloved. A mere shadow of their glorious past. This site shows lots of fantastic pictures that speaks for themselves. Some amusing, some with a longing feeling of love lost.

Perhaps the most interesting one is those about Chernobyl. Remember when you watch The Simpsons and Homer always almost cause a nuclear meltdown? Well, the Russians did it way back in the 80s.


20 years later, the building and trees are still emitting radiation. The whole city is like a ghost town with things left exactly as they were 2 decades ago. Read bout it here, here and here.
