shuyi told me that they are going to upgrade all the cable cars at habourfront and they are putting up the cabins for sale for collectors. Theme restaurants, tourist attractions, crazy landed property owners can apply.
These fellas are the Vivo City Drummer Boys. They were grinning cheekily. Shuyi never caught it but they were drumming to MJ's Smooth Criminal. They replaced the 'ow!' with the whistle.
They sprang up just like that. I didn't have much time to whip out the camera and fiddle with the settings. The result were some badly exposed pictures thanks to the bright shop lighting in the background.
Terrible picture. Tried to salvage it the best I can. But that is the thing about taking photo. Better to have at least something. The better gears and skills are just to increase the chances of a usable shot.
i hate you Tian Po!
Next we went to the bookstore to read some free books. I found this photo book of a particular opera trope. It was really inspiring. The photos with the accompanying text made for a great story. I didn't read the text (who have time for those?) in it's entirety but I still kinda get the story. That's why manga rocks so much.

This is a permanent fixture at VivoCity. Note the contrust between the fine delicate glassware he makes and his rough face which was most probably due to his art.
Whilst editing, I was impressed by how sharp the picture was. So I figured I could crop it some more. Sorry for the dark editing, actually you can see his interesting glasses which consisted of like 5-6 lens. Probably for protection: staring at naked flames 10 cm from your eyes ain't exactly healthy.
Tried out the lomo thing again but tweaking the greens to impossible levels.
These old school switches sure brings back memories (yes, I am that old). I used to have these black plastic switches at home. I remember vividly one time when I touched one of these with my hands wet. I experienced this pulse in my hand. I was shocked and quickly pull my fingers off of the switch.
After some thought, I did what all K1 boys would do in that situation: I put my hand back. Genius.
This is the window where they pushed all the used plates into. The heavily weathered wooden interior was fantastic. I would do up my home like this if i know how.
Time to go home.
