The strangest Christmas Eve

24 Dec started in the worst way for shuyi when she heard about the demise of her pri school classmate over the phone.

We went over to the wake after lunch and stayed till evening.

We went for dinner, watched some TV and went to bed early as shuyi has a flight to catch in the wee hours.

So here i am, on Christmas day, alone at home contemplating on what to do for the day. Or the entire weekend, for that matter.

Don't you just love the Christmas season?

I don't care about Jesus or why we celebrate his death with such funfare. The thing about this rainy season with lightings all over orchard is that is reminded me of the much happier, simpler times a decade back.

I'm very guilty of looking at the past on many occasions. Time to look forward. If you think that I am going to grab a tripod and head towards town, you are so wrong.
